ROB SCHULTHEIS – Writer & Consultant

A veteran war correspondent and human-rights
investigator, in his just released book called Waging
Peace recounts the six months he spent with Civil Affairs
Team A-13 in West Baghdad.  Mr. Schultheis has covered
Afghanistan for several publications, including Time, the
Washington Post, the San Francisco Examiner, and The
New York Times Magazine. His previous books include
Night Letter: Inside Wartime Afghanistan, Bone Games,
The Hidden West, and Fool's Gold.  

This summer Rob will be going back to Afghanistan to
continue his work as well as to scout locations for Winning
Hearts and Minds.
DMITRIY BOCHEKO – Founder and Creative director of WinningHearts, LLC.

Dmitriy Bocheko formerly a United States Army Liaison Officer and interpreter for
military, commercial agencies and host nation support elements for Movement
Control Team on Khanabad Air Base, Uzbekistan.  During Operation Enduring
Freedom V - Afghanistan (2004-2005) he was responsible for the coordination of
surface missions originating and transiting through Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.  
Mr. Bocheko holds numerous awards from US Army, State and Federal
Government, as well as degree in Film, Theatre & Media Production.  
At this time he is committed to bringing Wining Hearts and Minds to the screen.
STEVEN KLING - Production Manager

Sergeant Steven Kling is a soldier in 321st Civil
Affairs Brigade.  His team was based in
Jalalabad, Afghanistan during 2005-2006.

MITCHELL GOLDMAN – Producer

Mitchell Goldman is a New York City based film maker.  In 2003, he formed the boutique
production house Finally Famous Films, and has produced and directed commercial
projects for Absolut Vodka, Sprint, Virgin Mobile, M.A.C, The Knot, Zales and Citymeals-
on-wheels.  Currently, Mitchell is producing the Plum TV television program Kitchen MC.
He also just completed production on a film for Michael Whalen; Music In The Dark IV
and is developing 2 films with award winning director Gabriel Judet-Weinshel as well as
a documentary about the US Army Civil Affairs units in Afghanistan.

SRIRAM P. DAS - Executive Producer

Previously an investment banker in the Structured Solution Group at Merrill Lynch, which Sriram
recently abandoned to jump into filmmaking. The film he executive produced in affiliation with
Palm-Star Entertainment titled Premium, was invited into competition at the Miami International
Film Festival. At this time Sriram is committed to executive produce Winning Hearts& Minds.  

Sriram received his undergraduate degree in Social Studies from Harvard, and an MBA from Yale.

DAVID SILVER - Consulting Director

David Silver is a documentary film producer, director and writer; as well as faculty member at School
of Visual Arts in New York.

Education: MA, Birmingham University

COL. Herman Frankel served in Civil Affairs in Germany after World War II, helping establish democracy
and revive the economy in Bavaria.

COL. David Rubini set up the new court system in Baghdad after the fall of the Saddam regime.

COL. Robert Frame of the Coolege Park, Maryland-based CA Battalion is a maxillofacial surgeon and VA
official in civilian life.  He helped restore hospital services in Kabul and Baghdad, and received the Bronze
Star with Valor for leading his team out of an ambush in downtown Baghdad and saving his driver’s life,
despite being severely wounded.

Maj. Gen. Dennis Wilkie (Ret.) is head of the Civil Affairs Association, the CA veterans group that lobbies
for greater support for CA in the Army.

Joseph Collins (Army Colonel Ret.) former under-secretary of defense for counter-insurgency and civil
affairs until he accepted a teaching position at the Army War College.  He designed the Provincial
Reconstruction Team System in Afghanistan, which is now being used in Iraq.
